Leonbergers
Named after the city of Leonberg in south-west Germany, Leonbergers are strong and muscular dogs, known for their affinity with water.
Leonbergers are very affectionate dogs, and are great with children. They are very adaptable dogs and comparatively simple to look after. There are currently over 2,000 registered Leonbergers in Britain.
The average lifespan of a Leonberger is 7 years, which is average to breeds of their size.
