Doggy Holidays

At Village Groomers, we are delighted to offer home-from-home holidays for dogs. This means that we will look after your dog in our home and care for them as if they were one of our own.

All of our holiday dogs are given a long walk in the morning and again in the afternoon. We are lucky to be able to start our walks from our very own back garden where our gate then leads us out onto rolling countryside, providing us with varied walks away from roads.

We can, with your written permission, exercise your dog off its lead and it can then really enjoy the fun and experience of exercise with other dogs.

In all cases the owners must provide the food for their dog, ensuring that they remain on their usual diet and no complications arise in the case of allergies etc.

The idea behind doggy holidays really is to ensure that the dog has stress-free time whilst its owners are away and I simply become their Mum during their holiday period.

Quite typically in our house you will find holiday dogs curled up by our Aga after a long morning walk or lying on the cool of the patio, during the summer, content and happy.

Knowing that your dog is happy and content means that you can go away on holiday and really enjoy yourself, without any worry.

PLAESE NOTE - FOR ALL DOGGY DAY CARE AND HOLIDAY BOOKING A TRIAL DAY IS REQUIRED TO ENSURE THAT YOUR DOG IS SUITABLE FOR THIS ENVIRONMENT AS WELL AS ENSURING THAT THIS ENVIRONMENT SUITS YOUR DOG.
