Village Groomers was founded by Sarah Simms as a result of extensive research into various grooming salons within the UK.

Sarah found that the majority of salons operated a stressful and noisy environment and that caused dogs to become very distressed while being groomed. It was found that dogs were caged and not let out frequently to go to the toilet, if at all. It became clear that various salons were operating a production line, giving the dogs very little sensitivity and consideration.

As a result of this "eye opening" research across the UK, Sarah gained training in the grooming and bathing of dogs, establishing Village Groomers as a result.

Village Groomers offers your dog a home from home environment. Any dog that stays longer than two hours is walked around the gardens to enable them to stretch and take a "comfort break".

Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to Village Groomers. We pick up on time and deliver on time. We make the whole experience easy for you and your dog. In addition Village Groomers prides itself on grooming at the dogs pace, so if a dog is particularly nervous then breaks will be given to encourage and support the dog. The grooming is carried out in a vary calm environment with soft music playing in the background.

Most importantly we listen to you and groom your dog to your instructions. Whatever your dog requires from a simple bath to a full groom, we will deliver along with the dog enjoying the experience of Village Groomers.
